Jewellery store Inspired by Brufords will be rebranded W. Bruford from the end of August.

Inspired by Brufords was opened in the Arndale Centre eight years ago by Eastbourne’s leading jewellers W. Bruford who wanted a second store in the town to focus on selling fashion brands like Pandora and Swarovski.

Now managing director Ashley Pugh feels the time is right for Inspired to come back under the banner of the original brand, which has been established in Eastbourne since 1886.

Ashley said: “When we launched Inspired, it was the right thing to do because we wanted to give our fashion jewellery a separate brand to really establish itself and stand on its own two feet. After eight years, it feels the right time to bring it back under the W. Bruford banner and so we’ll also be re-launching one website for both stores that will make it easier for our online customers.”

The focus in the W. Bruford Arndale Centre store will still be bridal jewellery, fashion jewellery & watches while the main Cornfield Road premises will continue to sell a more traditional range including the Rolex and Breitling brands.

The original W. Bruford store was situated in Terminus Road from 1886 to 1981 when it relocated to its present site in Cornfield Road.
W. Bruford also owns the franchise for the PANDORA Eastbourne concept store that opened in the Arndale Centre in 2015.
