The kit includes compost, a trowel, a fork, growing pots and numerous seeds which the Children will then plant in their outside teaching area.  Services manager Sandra Hewett and store supervisor Ellie Dyer presented the goodies to the excited children at assembly. They are pictured above with Acting Deputy Head Sarah Fowle and pupil Isabel Hewett who is Sandra’s granddaughter.

Federation Head Teacher Mandy Stewart said, “We were delighted to welcome the local Sainsbury’s team into our school.  This partnership has enabled some of our pupils to benefit from the items donated, whether it be using the gardening tools to keep our outside areas looking neat and tidy or planting brand new seeds which the children will then see in bloom.”
